31 Jan, 2012 03:00 AM

A KERANG man has been charged with a number of driving offences after crashing into a fence at the Kerang Technical High School on Sunday night.

The 23-year-old man has been charged with drink driving, criminal damage, hoon conduct and conduct endangering life, while also rendering his car unroadworthy in the smash.

He was one of the three people to be charged with a drink driving offence in Kerang during the weekend, with a 36-year-old man from Kerang and a 53-year-old woman from South Australia also blowing above 0.05 after they were stopped during routine interceptions.

The woman has so far received a penalty notice as she has no previous offences, while the 53-year-old man does have prior offences.
