THE driver of a utility was fortunate to escape injury when the front of his vehicle collided with the side of a refrigerated transport truck at Kerang on Saturday morning.
Police said that the motorist failed to stop and give way at the intersection of Boundary Street and Airport Road.
Police were on the scene by 8.15am to discover both of the vehicles severely damaged.
A fire crew attended to wash away spilt fuel.
