A GRADE
Cohuna United play Wandella at home. Daniel Cooke was “duck-shoved” down the order last week and that seemed to work well. Josh Novoselek returned to vintage form with bat and ball. Chris Waterson, Logan Spittal and Lee Simmonds have had good seasons so far. Wandella like to get off to a flying start so Zac Saunders will be a key. Ro Oliver is steady in the middle order. All rounders like Greg Dickson, Trav Mathieson and Mick Bott can do plenty to influence the game. The pick is Wandella by 11.
Murrabit are at home to Barham Koondrook. The wicket was fairly slow last week but there may still be a few ramp shots attempted in this game. Jim Hirst is never in a hurry, Brent McKnight batted sensibly last game and Josh Dwyer can do plenty with the ball. Barham Koondrook can get big totals with batters like Steve Farrant, the Lolicatos, Jake Hare and Mick O’Toole hungry for runs. The tip is Barham Koondrook by 25.
Leitchville Gunbower face Nondies at Leitchville. Tyler Jones, Bradley Windridge and Kurt Brereton head a strong batting structure. Tom Dehne and Todd Gelletly can be good with the ball and Joel Perry is improving as a fielder. Nondies are an emotional side and Clayton Holmes will be keen to atone from a failure last game. Ryan Holmes wants to show that he is more than a one hit wonder and Glen O’Shea still has the ability to get a big total. The selection is Leitchville Gunbower by 37.
